I'm a huge fan of CloudFlare and with recent SpamHaus DDoS attack, they have increased their reputation in their service.

If you are using CloudFlare, and in need to detect the visitor's language, I have a good news for you.

CloudFlare automatically makes available some variables that you can access server-side.

Easily shorten URLs with is.gd bookmarklet (No page loads!)

I use is.gd service many times a day so I needed to save few minutes of my day with a bookmarklet.

Well, is.gd has a simple API that you can generate the shorten URL with a simple reject. is.gd even has its own bookmarklet but it opens a new tab to show the URL which is not the easiest way if you are in a hurry and need to shrink many URLs.

My first ever computer

My father bought me a computer a computer when I'm 8 or 9 and it was such a nice present — or I can say it was a WONDERFUL gift for me at that age.
I didn't even know what model it was or any serious technical aspects but recently I badly wanted to figure out.

I just Googled its brand name, processor type, processor and RAM and found some familiar results. After few hours of hard Googling, I found its brand name and some pictures of it.

Block Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other crap bundles using AdBlockPlus!

If you had a look at my previous posts, you will see that most of my posts are either about Drupal or Firefox. This post is not going to be an exception!
Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other social media crap are now popular and you can see it everywhere on the Internet. Do you seriously need these buttons to share their content ? Do you need to have a like button on every page you open ? Seriously ?

I was using Adblock Plus to block advertisements but it was not blocking these buttons.
